A program designed to promote stewardship of marine heritage.  Adoption can range from a group of casual divers observing their favorite site to a group applying for an archaeological license to perform survey work

A form could be filled out at the beginning and end of the season detailing any changes to the site over the course of time and from season to season

A map would be established online and sites adopted would be marked on the map along with the name or the adopting group with contact information
